Active ingredient guaifenesin helps thin and loosen phlegm in your chest, making it easier to cough up.

Phenylephrine is a nasal decongestant that helps reduce swelling in the nasal passages so that you can breathe more easily.

Paracetamol can relieve the pain and help reduce your temperature if you have a fever.

Uses of benylin chesty cough and cold tablets:

To relieve symptoms associated with colds and flu, including aches and pains, headache, blocked nose, sore throat, chills, and chesty cough.

Ingredients of benylin chesty cough and cold tablets:

- Paracetamol 250mg
- Guaifenesin 100mg
- Phenylephrine Hydrochloride 5mg

Dosage of benylin chesty cough and cold tablets: 

12 years and over: 2 tablets. Repeat every 4 hours as required. No more than 8 tablets (4 doses) in any 24-hour period. Under 12 years: not to be given.
