Imodium Instants (2mg) - 6 Orodispersible Tablets (N)

Imodium Instants can provide relief from diarrhoea and can stop it in less than one hour. 6 melt in the mouth tablets. The tablet dissolves instantly on your tongue.

Imodium works by restoring your bowel to its normal rhythm. This helps to restore the absorption of fluids into your body.

Imodium Instants are for the symptomatic relief of diarrhoea only and are not a substitute for rehydration therapy.

Suitable for:

Adults and Children over 12 years.

How to use:

Please read the enclosed leaflet carefully before use.

Sudden short-lived (acute) diarrhoea:

• Adults and children over 12 years: Take 2 tablets initially, followed if required by 1 tablet after every further loose bowel movement, up to a maximum of 6 tablets per day.
• If your diarrhoea lasts for more than 24 hours, consult your doctor.
• Not recommended for children under 12 years.

Diarrhoea associated with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) already diagnosed by a doctor:

Adults aged 18 years and over: Take 2 tablets initially, followed if required by 1 tablet after every loose bowel movement, or as advised previously by your doctor. Do not take more than 6 tablets per day. If your symptoms change or your diarrhoea persists for more than 2 weeks, consult your doctor.

TO OPEN: peel back lid from pocket, then tip tablet out. Do not push tablet through foil.

Hazards and Cautions:

• Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
• Warning: do not exceed the stated dose.

Precautions:

• Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have an underlying medical condition, are taking any other medication or complementary therapy, or if symptoms persist
