Otrivine Allergy Relief 0.1% Nasal Spray is for application in the nose to give relief from: nasal congestion (blocked nose, including colds), perennial and allergic rhinitis (recurring inflammation of the nasal mucous membranes, including hay fever) and sinusitis. Otrivine Allergy Relief 0.1% Nasal Spray contains the active ingredient xylometazoline hydrochloride which helps to open up and clear the nasal passages by reducing the excessive nasal secretions and reduces swollen blood vessels to their normal size. Otrivine Nasal Spray helps unblock your nose in 2 minutes, and lasts for up to 10 hours.

USES: 
Symptomatic relief of nasal congestion associated with allergic rhinitis (including hayfever), perennial rhinitis and sinusitis.

Otrivine Allergy Spray Ingredients: 

Active ingredient: 0.1% wlv Xylometazoline Hydrochloride

For excipients see 6.1

DOSAGE: 

  • Over 12 years: 1 spray in each nostril 1-3 times daily.
  • Not to be used for more than 7 consecutive days.
  • Under 12 years: not to be used.

  • Is Otrivine good for hayfever?
Decongestants such as Otrivine Allergy Relief 0.1% Nasal Spray can help treat the nasal symptoms of hay fever, specifically nasal congestion.
  • Is otrivin nasal drops safe?
Many people using this medication do not have serious side effects. Tell your doctor right away if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: slow/fast/pounding heartbeat, dizziness, nausea, headache, mental/mood changes, trouble sleeping, shaking (tremors), unusual sweating, unusual weakness.
