SMA Gold Prem 2 Post Discharge Formula (For Low Birthweight and Preterm Babies) 200ml (N)

SMA Gold Prem 2 contains phosphorus and calcium for healthy bone development as well as Omega 3 and 6 LCPs (Long Chain Polyunsaturates) to provide higher levels of protein, energy, vitamins and minerals than typical baby milks. It is balanced for your baby's needs if they are preterm or have been born with a low birthweight, and is fortified with iron to help brain development.

Directions for use:

• Wash hands well. Sterilise all utensils according to manufacturer's instructions.
• Ensure top of carton and scissors are clean. Shake carton well, snip open and pour into a sterilised bottle. Add sterilised teat and cap.
• SMA Gold Prem 2 can be fed at room temperature. If required to heat, stand filled bottle in warm water.
• Before feeding, shake the bottle well. If warmed, test the temperature by shaking a few drops onto the inside of your wrist - milk should be lukewarm.

Your healthcare professional will advise you when to move from SMA Gold Prem 2 to another formula.

SMA recommend that breast milk is best for babies. This product must be used under medical supervision. SMA Gold Prem 2 is a special Catch-Up Formula for preterm and low birthweight babies who are not solely fed breast milk. It is suitable for use as the sole source of nutrition for infants up to 6 months. SMA Gold Prem 2 Catch-Up Formula is not intended for use with newborn preterm babies, for whom fortified breast milk or a low birthweight formula such as SMA Gold Prem 1 is more appropriate.
