Doublebase Dry Skin Emollient 100g (N)

Doublebase Diomed Dry Skin Emollient is a high-performance, long-lasting emollient for relieving very dry skin – suitable for eczema, dermatitis, and psoriasis. Specially formulated to moisturise and protect the skin by locking in moisture and restoring its natural protective barrier. This emollient combines the high emollient oil content of a cream with the easy absorption of a gel so that the skin can absorb it easily and moisture loss is prevented.

Ingredients:

Suitable for all ages - for daily use by adults, children and infants.

Active Ingredients: Isopropyl myristate (15% w/w) and liquid paraffin (15% w/w)
Other Ingredients: Glycerol, carbomer, sorbitan laurate, trolamine, phenoxyethanol and purified water.

This formula is free from colourings, fragrances, steroids, SLS, parabens and MI preservatives.

Directions for Use:

• Gently smooth over and around all affected areas as often as required. Allow to absorb into the skin, not not rub vigorously into skin.
• If applying with other skin treatments allow sufficient time for each each application to dry to avoid mixing products.

Warnings:

• Please read and retain the package leaflet before you use it. The same instructions apply to all age groups.
• Do not use in cases of known sensitivity to any of the ingredients. Keep out of the sight and reach of children. For use on the skin only.
• Fire hazard. Do not smoke or go near naked flames. Clothing and bedding with this product dried on them can catch fire easily.
• Storage: Do not store above 25°C.

Side Effects:

This product has been specially designed for use on dry or problem skin. However, in rare cases, it can cause skin irritation (mild rashes) or allergic skin reactions on extremely sensitive skin.

These rare effects tend to occur during or soon after the first few uses. Stop using this gel and tell your doctor, nurse or pharmacist:

• If your skin condition seems to look or feel worse.
• If any of the side effects get serious, or you notice any other side effects not mentioned in the leaflet.
• If this product is accidentally swallowed, its oily ingredients may cause diarrhoea.

If this happens:

• Treat the symptoms as you would deal with any case of diarrhoea.
• Drink plenty of water.
• Do not attempt to cause vomiting.

Reporting of side effects:

If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or nurse.
