EllaOne is a single tablet emergency contraceptive that can be used up to 5 days after uprotected sexual intercourse. Along with other emergency contraceptives, It is also called the morning after pill. EllaOne is a morning-after pill taken to prevent pregnancy when contraception has failed (e.g. a condom has split) or you have had sex without using any contraception. You should take ellaOne as soon as possible after you had unprotected sex, but you can take it up to 5 days after. EllaOne 30mg film-coated emergency contraception tablet. Take one tablet as soon as possible after unprotected sex or contraceptive failure. ellaOne is 98% effective in preventing pregnancy if taken after one single instance of unprotected sex. It will not prevent pregnancy if you have unprotected sex after you have taken it or if you take it after you have ovulated.
